Rules & Regulations:

• 1. Wake up at 05-00 am regularly.
• 2. Perform daily work in time.
• 3. Clean & maintain compound & environment.
• 4. Assist in easy work of Hostel.
• 5. Play & exercise in regular basis.
• 6. Keep belongings in order, clean & tidy.
• 7. Seek permission to go out of hostel, if needed.

Admission Rules:

Boys in between age of 10 and 11 (as on 1st January of current session) are admitted in class 5 only. Admission in class 6 or 7 is subject to availability of seat.

Boys are placed in Secondary school managed by Ashram till class X.

Local students from Liluah to Bandel& up to Singur are not allowed to get admission in Hostel. Forms may be provided to local students in case of special occasion, if Authority consider.

Entrance Exams and Procedure:

All students have to sit for written exam of total marks-100 ( Bengali-25, Math-30, English-15, History10, Geography-10, Science-10).

Name of selected candidates is declared in Notice board of Hostel Office & inform Parents/Guardians by phone or post.

Students under waiting list can get opportunity if any selected candidate not admitted in time.

Oral interview, Attendance test are held on the day of call at Hostel Office.

Expenditure

Please be informed clearly regarding expenditure incurred by Parents/Guardians as follows:

Annual session fee is paid to Hostel Office in January while taking admission

Monthly expenses for Hostel service.

Misc. expenditure like Donation, Subscription for puja, excursion fee, computer fee etc. are paid separately when required.

Entire amount to be paid in case admission is made any day of the month.

School annual charge needs to be cleared in January.

Payment is accepted by Cash, Cheque, Bank draft, Money order in favor of “Mahesh Sri Ramakrishna Ashram Chhatrabas”.

No reduction is made in case of holidays/vacation or student not present in hostel due to some reason.

Monthly fee is to be paid by 10th of every month & at least Rs 1000 should be deposited in advance as “expenses in hand” for current month.

Deposit money is returned from Hostel office on final leave from Hostel at the end of Secondary Exam. If this money not claimed by Parents within 1 year, amount is treated as donation in the name of student to Ashram.

Tuition Timing :

Fee for tuition will be equally increased from class 5 to class 10 every two year. According to decision of Authority fees for class 10 would be normally double of class 5.

Boys are used to study at least 6 hours a day in morning & evening. Teachers, Assistant, Monks guide them in this period of study.

Teaching for all subjects is provided. If special teaching is needed, guardian can arrange & bear the expenses.

Before completion of year (in December) a guardian can take student home from Hostel after clearing all dues and fees for the month. School transfer certificate would be issued to students in that time.

Dues should be paid in case Hostel Authority decides not to keep any student in Hostel due to serious misconduct or absurd activity against the ASHRAM.

Hostel authority takes final decision about accommodation, food, study of students.
